Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had a Jewish background. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings in Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder would read extensively due to the lack of television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes when Ryder was 12, in the American Conservatory Theatre. In the year she turned 15, Ryder landed her first acting job on screen, in Lucas. Ryder faced bullying during her time in high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress would bring about change. Unfortunately, that did not occur. However, she kept working towards her dreams. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder continued to play successful parts in a variety of films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her part in The Age of Innocence (1993).
