Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had a Jewish background. Uria Ryder is her younger brother.
