Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Amy Smart was born and was raised in California, United States of America. She began her modeling career in Italy. Her first acting role was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. From there to starring in a minor role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. It was a hard time for her to transition from modelling to acting as the models were never thought of as actors and tended to be given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy was never discouraged.
